Advertisement 1 :

2. I believe the purpose of the advertisement is to encourage people to go green and recycle. This is displayed by the recycle symbols and the quote, “reduce, recycle, reuse”.
3. The audience of the advertisement can generally be aimed at all ages and gender however I believe it especially applies to children. This is because the picture of the frog would appeal to young people.
4. In creating the advertisement I think the graphic designer focused on the appeal to the target audience. Hints like the frog in the centre of the design and a focus of green colours to make the message very clear to the children “Go Green”.
5. ???
6. Yes the advertisement does achieve its purpose. I believe this because it makes the message very clear and simple.
Advertisment 4:

1. The advertisement is a scene set in either what looks to be a warehouse or an ally way. There is a large cardboard board box with a polar bear and its cub sleeping inside it. Then a garbage bag beside the cardboard box. The heading is " Global Warming is Leaving Many Homeless".
2. The purpose off the advertisement is to send the message that global warming is making many animals left without homes, which means that they will die without living in their natural habitat. A second purpose is that the graphic designer is trying to make the readers have pity on the animals and do something about global warming.
3. Adults are the audience for this advertisement. I believe this because I don’t really think children would fully understand the concept of global warming let alone the every day life of the homeless.
4. The creator of this advertisement used the particular graphic features such as a surreal picture where a polar bear is in a box to get the message across in a way that the average Australia could understand. Not many people are educated about Antarctica and polar bears but everyone knows the concept of a homeless person and how they live. This is why the designer chose to mesh the two ideas in together.
5. ???
6. I do believe the advertisement has achieved its purpose in raising awareness on the effects of global warming on animals. The picture is quite shocking in a way, which may bring pity on the animals and get people taking action on the issue.
